This decision comes following the successful incubation of CDEP within CUH, enabling CDEP to build a high-quality digital e-learning platform with excellent training outcomes. The Trust makes this supportive move in order to enable CDEP to grow and develop further, responding to opportunities in a more agile manner.

CDEP will continue to be led by Candice Ward as director of the newly formed company, Edify Ltd, upholding and further enriching the CDEP brand, guided by a multidisciplinary advisory board made up of key diabetes experts from across the UK.

As of 1st April 2022, Edify Ltd will assume full responsibility for all existing CDEP licences purchased by CCGs, trusts, organisations as well as individuals.
